With This President it’s One Bad Thing After Another

In Politics, The Pastor's Blog on November 8, 2009 at 5:24 PM

How do the Democrats have the nerve to talk about President George W. Bush’s years in office in the face of the horrendous job President Obama is handing to the American people? With this administration, it’s one bad policy and public relations nightmare after another.

This post will not seek to offer much in the way of commentary; rather, its intent is to point to some current headlines and offer sympathy for the American people and those who have dealings with our left-wing administration.

As this Washington Post article suggests, President Obama is excited about the House passing what sane people call a catastrophe. He absolutely ignores common sense and continues pressing forward to make sure our nation more weak by strangling us with debt many generations will not be able to pay back. Pitiful!

Remember, the jobless figure won’t be more than 8-9 %. Right!

In one more failure to display presidential prowess, our president will be sitting out the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. President Ronald Reagan was instrumental in tearing down both the wall and the stench of communism. What a shame. He should go to see what a previous generation thought about too much government control. It appears he wants to take us down the path torn down twenty years ago.

  1. Good post, Pastor Ron. This President seems intent on making our country weaker and if we think it is bad now, just wait and see what happens if he is elected for a 2nd term. The first four years will be nothing compared to that.

    • Thanks for the vote of confidence, Larry. It has been quite a while since posting; there just doesn’t seem to be the time any more. Anyway, it’s one bad showing after another, and so many people are still not awake, they are asleep blindly following the president. All he can offer is making good speeches reading from his teleprompter. I concur with your assessment.

    • Larry – Oh God I pray he doesn’t not make it in for a second term! Could ‘we the people’ really be that blind?

  2. I read today that the unemployment numbers are actually 21-22% because under Bill Clinton the rules were changed to eliminate anyone who was out of work for more than a year and had given up finding work. (are there really people like that in America?) Anyway, if you add them in, unemployment now stands at 21-22%.

Also, our debt load is running at 12 TRILLION and is projected to his 21 TRILLION by 2019.

I literally feel sick sometimes when I read the results of this President’s ineptitude.

Good to have you back if even for this one post!

    • Dominique, I just don’t think we’re going to know the extent of the damage this president and the loony-left have perpetrated on the American people. It is for certain our illustrious mainline media won’t tell us all the details.

I agree with you wholeheartedly about the president’s ineptitude; it seems to blossom more and more each week. Another sad thing to me is the fact neither he nor his cabinet seem to think anything is amiss with their radical, left-wing policies.

      I’m praying for a miracle.

  3. All I can say is *sigh,* know what I mean?

  4. On an encouraging note, many are seeing through President Obama’s inept leadership. Though it might not change anything for the better, I thought you and your readers would like to read this post by some (former) Obama supporters in defense of George W. Bush!

It’s a great read, and so are the 1000+ comments!!

    • Linda, that is an amazing post you linked to. I have never read that blog before. It is quite evident people are beginning to see through the smoke and mirrors the president has been using for many years. To this day, I am shocked when thinking about he got into the highest office in the land. We press forward in the name of the Lord, though, and look for God’s hand in our affairs.
