Left-Wing Stooges – Not Funny at All!

Someone just sent me an e-mail that speaks volumes about the plight of our great nation. When Bo, Blinky and Harry run the show, debt happens at an alarming rate, and the march to destruction seems to be the number one priority. Honestly, the real stooges would probably do a better job running our country than the ones in the picture. What do you think about it?

Three Stooges

The original e-mail had the following quote attached to the bottom of the page, just as I have done. After scouring the net, though, I could not substantiate it even though it is cited in numerous publications. There just isn’t a source for what she is supposed to have said.

According to a Wikiquote article, the following seems logical:

Update: Margaret Thatcher, in a TV interview for Thames TV This Week [[1]]on Feb. 5, 1976, Prime Minister Thatcher said, “…and Socialist governments traditionally do make a financial mess. They [socialists] always run out of other people’s money. It’s quite a characteristic of them.”

What these three are doing to our country is definitely not funny. They are forcing something on the American public that Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Wilson Reagan fought so hard against – socialism, communism and any other ism which stifled the excellence of capitalism. Sadly, there are too many in our country who are asleep at the wheel and have no clue who’s in office. Perhaps they should take a look at the poster!

For the president, it’s one mistake after another, and the other two sharing space on the poster are right behind him. Sad, but true.

I have read that quote before, but I can’t find anything to substantiate it.

I am very afraid our country is headed down a very troubling path. I wish I could say more, but I am out of words. :(

Larry, it’s hard for me to imagine the people who put these far left liberals into office think the ideology they espouse is normal. Have so many people grown up thinking left-wing liberalism is what our founders envisioned for us? That hardly seems right. I think what has happened is conservatism has fallen asleep and lost its vigil; in doing so, the raunchy leftists have made enormous headway to the detriment of our nation.

Just as you mentioned not understanding the people who voted for Obama thinking their ideology is normal, it is hard for me to understand “Spirit lead Christians ” having voted for him. I recently met a person in Walmart who talked of how spiritual he was and how he let God lead him in every decision, while he was wearing a Tee Shirt with Obama’s picture on the front of it. I just wonder whose spirit he was following.

It is hard to imagine anyone voting for this left-wing, America-bashing man who has really never proven anything but how much other people’s money he can spend. Yes, wearing an Obama t-shirt while espousing spiritual matters is quite perplexing. The scripture is plain, though, and cannot be denied. The natural man cannot receive the things of the Spirit and he can’t know them because they’re spiritually doscerned.

I have Margaret Thatcher’s autobiography. Maybe I can find it in there? I will see.

You are right. This is not funny. Maybe I am naive but I still hold out hope for America. I won’t believe it is over until the fat lady sings.

Obama and his ilk may have scored a touchdown but they haven’t won the game.

Yes, Dominique, I still hold out hope for America, too. I so perplexed about so many of our countrymen being blind regarding this administration. It truly is amazing.

Unfortunately the left doesnt care what our father’s wanted. They want a free ride. And many I am afraid, want it this way. They did not carry the states they claim like NY and California. They did carry the slums and ghettos of all big cities and even the areas of our southern towns where the people have their hands out. For many years the left have pandered to these folks to the point it is more profitable for them to be on susistance than to work. And the politicians who claim to be republicans wont change the entitlement programs because they too are pandering for votes.

I thought if they had a good christian conservative choice that said I am against gay rights and abortion and such they would elect him but they had that in Huckabee and missed the boat. Only 2% of the population are as liberal as Pelosi, Ried and Obama but they still got elected. While I do not believe we should ever give up, I do believe it is prophecy fulfilled. I have heard recently that in a Gallup poll after 9 months in office that all the numbers are up by at left 5 % points for all the conservative causes and the ones moving are the Independents. The same ones that voted democratic last time. The question now is can we survive the next 3 years and will the damage be reversible. I am not at all confident.

Larry, I’m so glad you commented here on my little blog. Your points are thoughtful and well-taken. It is so sad to see this great nation in the shape she’s in; it a far cry from what our founding fathers had in mind.

I believe in prayer and God’s people fighting for what they believe in. It’s more than the insidious left-wing loons we’re dealing with, though, and so many good people are totally unaware of it. In my opinion, there is a very dark force influencing the Pelosis, Reids and Obamas of this world to act the way they do. These people are not for the betterment of Americans; they just want to line their own pockets and make a name for themselves. How sad it truly is.
